I felt angry when my client jammed the front door open Tuesday.
I felt angry when the guy ran the red light and hit my jeep when I was 30.

Feelings--List & Definitions 
​Love—where you feel happy with somebody, feel like hug, or have good touch, and want to be with them or do things for them [grown-ups, a relationship where your needs are equal]

Angry—mad; okay in all sizes it’s just how you act when you’re mad; “I don’t like it” feeling

Sad—feel down, feel like crying; don’t want to do anything

Lonely—like you really want to be with other people somehow, or do things with others (sometimes feel lonely when around other people)

Happy—feel like smiling, jumping for joy; like anger it comes in all sizes

Overwhelmed—it’s just too much

Hopeful—things have been bad, but feel like they are getting better

Scared—afraid something bad might happen

Jealous—where you want to have or you want to do something someone else has or someone else is doing

Competent, or “I can do a good job”--feel like I can do a good job

Depressed—feel sad, down, like things are never going to get better again

Strong—where you do something that is hard, or maybe don’t want to 

I want

Excited—this is good, I am so happy I could jump for joy

Guilty –feel sorry, like it is something you shouldn’t have done; “oh no I wish I hadn’t done it”

Embarrassed—face all red, made mistake, don’t want people to look at you

Relaxed—all easy, sleepy a little, comfortable

Anxious—nervous and up tight

Content or satisfied—fat cat happy, got about everything you want 

Safe—nothing too bad can happen

Hurt—Feelings hurt, feel like crying

Mixed Up—feel more than one thing at a time—for example you love mom but are mad at her all at the same

Play Feeling Ball (my invention)--get a Poof soccer ball and a DVD/CD marker, write the list of feelings on the ball (to play:  toss ball, you must say "I felt ___" about the feeling you're looking at); you can only talk if holding the ball)
